Join the American Heritage Youth Advisory Council

The Youth Advisory Council provides experience, leadership, and connections through various projects in partnership with American Heritage Credit Union. High School Students who are on the Youth Advisory Council should expect to gain a knowledge and understanding of teamwork, time management, goals, organization, networking, and communication through the governing bodies at large (Finance and Public Relations).

Applications are now being accepted from February 1, 2021 - March 31, 2021 and will be carefully reviewed by our committee in deciding the students who will have a chair at the council.

     Youth Advisory Council's Duties

  • Assist American Heritage to better connect students with the credit union
  • Participate in Focus Groups to discuss current and future needs of our younger community members
  • Participate in thinktank presentations on useful products, services and delivery channel ideas 
  • Conduct sessions with guest speakers in the industry
  • Plan events to support the Kids-N-Hope Foundation
